Model boundaries
- Both reactions are monoprotic and have 1:1 acid-to-hydroxide stoichiometry at 25 °C.
- Hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide are treated as fully dissociated; ethanoic acid uses Ka = 1.74 × 10⁻⁵.
- Activities, dilution heat and indicator effects on pH are neglected.

The liquid and indicator label update from calculated pH. Beside the apparatus, a pH-versus-added-volume curve marks the current state and the calculated equivalence volume; every value is repeated in the measurement panel.
