Sine rule
Also known as: law of sines
What is sine rule?
The sine rule relates the sides and opposite angles of any triangle: a / sin A = b / sin B = c / sin C. Use it when you know two angles and a side (AAS or ASA) or two sides and a non-included angle (SSA, the ambiguous case). For right-angled triangles, SOHCAHTOA is simpler and preferred.
