Subscription Terms

1. Plans & Pricing

StudyVector offers Free and Pro memberships, with flexible billing options for the paid plan.

• Free: £0 — limited daily study time, exam-style question practice, and core revision tools.
• Pro: available as monthly (£12/month), 6 month (£49.99), or 12 month (£79.99) access — unlimited step-by-step tutor, full lessons, exam feedback, advanced revision planner, adaptive learning paths, deep mistake diagnosis, readiness forecasting, admissions test prep, and priority support.
• Exam Pass: a one-time payment for full Pro access until exams finish — no recurring subscription.

All prices are shown in GBP. Any taxes will be handled in line with applicable law at checkout where required.

2. Billing

• Paid memberships may be billed monthly, every 6 months, or every 12 months, depending on the option you choose at checkout.
• Payments are charged in advance for the selected billing period.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Your paid membership will automatically renew for the same billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and notify you. Continued payment failure may result in loss of paid access or downgrade to Free.

3. Trials & Introductory Offers

If we offer a free trial or introductory pricing, the details will be shown clearly at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, once the trial or introductory period ends your selected paid membership will begin automatically at the standard rate for the billing option you chose, unless you cancel beforehand.

4. Cancellation

• You may cancel your paid membership at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will keep paid access until that period ends.
• After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan unless you start a new paid membership.
• We do not charge cancellation fees.

5. Refund Policy

• Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• If you request a refund within 14 days of your first paid purchase and have not made significant use of paid features, we will usually issue a full refund.
• Refunds for renewals or later billing periods are not usually provided because you can cancel before the next renewal date.
• If a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method where possible.
• To request a refund, email hello@studyvector.co.uk with your account email and a short explanation of the issue.

6. Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your membership through your account dashboard. Where supported, changes may take effect immediately or from the next renewal date depending on the billing setup in place at the time. Any pricing or timing shown during the change flow will apply.

7. Pricing Changes

We may update our pricing, membership structure, or available billing options from time to time. If a change affects your existing paid membership, we will give reasonable notice in advance by email or through your account before it takes effect. If you do not want to continue, you may cancel before renewal.

8. Access to Paid Features

Paid memberships give access to the features included in the selected plan for the duration of the active billing period. We may improve, update, or adjust features over time as the platform develops, provided the overall nature of the membership remains materially consistent.
